All along the history of human kind, gold seduced both men and women. Such a rare and beautiful metal couldnt be ignored. Instead men felt more confident when owning it, while women enjoyed the beauty added by gold jewels. People become more willing to help at the sight of gold.
Most of the times when people imagine how it would be to be rich, they often come up with images of piles of gold coins, gold bullion and gold jewels. Wealthy persons sometimes wish to make a splash of their fortune. To become more visible to the public they display huge amounts of gold in the form of gold cars, clothes made of gold and outrageously heavy gold jewels.
The most eccentric of them have other unusual preferences. They like to eat food decorated with gold. Gold is ductile and can be beaten into very thin sheets. Gourmet deserts can be decorated with gold flakes, leafs or dust. Ingesting gold is safe. It has no smell, taste or nutritional value. Nevertheless it is tasty enough to be eaten as desert or drunk in very expensive cocktails.
Gold is very stable with regard to the economic changes. Even when currency or government change gold remains very much the same. People who are in possession of gold bullion or other gold objects are insured against fluctuations in the economy.
People often judge the others by their appearance. Thus, a women wearing gold jewels is considered to be rich or to belong to a rich family. A man with a gold watch around his wrist is judged as being wealthy and pleased with his life. It is no mystery that every persons heart melts at the view of a gold object. Offering gold jewels or other gold accessories is an action which makes people more kind and willing to help you with favors. Even if the design of the object is not beautiful enough the true value of it resides in the material.
