You can also go through intermediaries such as banks, pension funds, mutual funds, collective investment schemes, insurance companies and investment clubs. Investment decisions in this case are left with the intermediaries to buy either financial assets or real assets so that there will be an income or profit. The profit is then shared with the original investor. It must be clear to all that investment always has a risk factor including capital loss.
