Trading Coaches - Why Do They Trade?

Many people consider trading as an easy way to wealth. New traders often think that they can take a small amount of cash and trade it into a very large pile of money very quickly. The reality is incredibly different.

The secret to trading is risk management. Trading needs to be thought of as a serious business and only if you think of it that way will you survive. Given that trading is actually a very difficult way to make a living, I recently asked a number of professional traders why they trade?

One of the most common answers to the question of why do you trade is the freedom it brings. Trading allows you to decide the hours that you work and when you work. Experienced traders trade a system and find that less is more. Less is more means that they find the best method is to just follow the system they developed, don't tinker with it and although it doesn't take much time, it produces the best returns.

Full time traders are self employed. Being self employed means that they can trade when they want to and take a holiday without asking the boss. They can trade from any location. They are responsible for their own success and failures. Many traders also find that they learn much about themselves as they develop as traders. The experience helps people grow as a person.

Most traders trade for the challenge. They trade for the difficulty and the reward. They may have found a system that works, but the markets constantly change and they have to monitor their results and decide if and when the system must be updated or changed. You must continue to learn about what works and what methods do not work.
